Our Approach
Performances
We believe that performing is intrinsic to the dancers growth. Students have multiple performance opportunities throughout the season to hone their performance skills.
Bi-Annual Juries
Twice a season (September-May), each PPD dancer along with their parent has the opportunity to meet with faculty to review their progress. These meetings help evaluate skills, provide feedback for improvement, and prepare for professional opportunities.
Audition Photos
Each season, PPD dancers receive a photography session with award winning dance photographer, Mark Schermeister, to take their headshot and any needed photos for auditions.
Comprehensive Approach
We believe in an integrated approach, PPD dancers have the opportunity to meet with former dancer and physical therapist Dr. Audrey for concerns and education weekly.
