Daniela Cepero began her dance training at the elementary arts school Benny Moré in her hometown Cienfuegos, Cuba, and later continued her education at the National School of Dance of Cuba (ENA), where she graduated with the highest distinction in her class. Upon graduation, Daniela was selected to continue her pre-professional training with the National Contemporary Dance Company of Cuba, Danza Contemporánea de Cuba, where she spent three years performing and collaborating with internationally acclaimed choreographers and artistic directors. She later joined OtroLado Dance Company, rising to the rank of Principal Dancer. During her time with the company, she had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned organizations and artists, including Acosta Danza under the direction of Carlos Acosta, Aterballetto (Italy’s National Contemporary Dance Company), and Malpaso Dance Company through projects presented in collaboration with the Joyce Theater Foundation. Since 2023, Daniela has been a full company member of STYX The Company and Ballet Florida, continuing to expand her artistic career as a professional performer. Alongside her performance career, Daniela is a dedicated full-time dance educator specializing in Contemporary Dance and Ballet. She proudly serves on the faculty of Dance Theatre of Florida and as the Lead Teacher of the Dance Department at Boynton Beach School of Music, Dance & Drama, where she coaches two competitive dance teams and choreographs award-winning solos for dancers competing at prestigious events such as the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and the Universal Ballet Competition (UBC).
