Chava Teitler

Chava Teitler is a homegrown Selah Academy graduate with over nine years of dance experience. Her passion for dance education bloomed early: before graduating in 2025, Chava spent several years assisting Ms. Brittany Kernohan in Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet, learning firsthand how to nurture young dancers first steps into the world of ballet.

Chava has also taught one-on-one dance privates, crafting a personalized curriculum for each student's individual goals so they can progress at their own pace in a caring, gentle, and encouraging environment.

She has furthered her personal training at summer intensives with Miami City Ballet, Ballet Palm Beach, Milwaukee Ballet, Ballet Arizona, and Orlando Ballet, and is currently continuing her dance education at Broward College.

Chava believes that a dancer's early years in the studio shape their lifelong relationship with movement, and she brings this belief into her teaching by weaving somatic movement practices into her classes, creating a space where students can cultivate a mind/body connection and develop mindfulness around how their bodies move and feel in the studio.
